Setback to Comeback…

Setback to Comeback

Tim Tebow is known mainly in college for his great play as a quarterback. Winning two national titles and a Heisman some consider Tim Tebow the best College football player period.

His NFL career is looked on with less fondness. Really only having two relevant seasons, one where he took the Denver Broncos to the playoffs and won a playoff game against the defending AFC Champion Pittsburgh Steelers, there is not a whole lot to tell.

Most recently Tim Tebow had a shot with the Jacksonville Jaguars but as a Tight End. He gave it his best shot but almost a decade away from the league showed and he was effectively released.

He tweeted that he was happy for the chance and quoted Romans 8:28 “For God works all things to the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose.”

I always love how Tim Tebow relates his career to his faith. In a way it paid off as just days after release Timmy T got a win, he is now partnered with Clean Juice as a National Brand Ambassador.

You see God always has a plan a purpose. In the moment I’m sure Tim Tebow was disappointed in being released. However, God had a plan and while it wasn’t maybe what Tim Tebow was thinking of God had a better plan.

What plans have you had that fell through? Did God bless you with a different and better plan? Are you still waiting for his plan to come to fruition?

You see Tim believed, he knew there was a plan and purpose even in the disappointment and God came through. Let’s try to have an attitude of even though things might not workout, God has bigger and better plans. 👍
